Green Events
Messezentrum Salzburg has been the proud recipient of the Austrian Eco-label for Green Meetings and Green Events since 2017. As a licensee of this award, we also support interested organisers in conducting their event according to the Eco-label standards.

Green Meetings and Green Events are characterised by particularly responsible action in the following areas:
- regional added value and social compatibility
- environmentally friendly arrival and departure of guests
- use of sustainable products while hosting the guests
- regional, seasonal and organic food for catering and refreshments
- resource-saving material management and environmentally friendly procurement
- waste avoidance and environmentally friendly waste disposal
